Disneyland Vacation Memories
Where are you going to celebrate the times of your life??? I'm going to

My favorite place on earth (well, except for anywhere my daughter and grandchildren are) is being on vacation at a Disney property, but I wanted to tell you a bit about why, so I decided to start with Disneyland. I'll cover the Walt Disney World resort and the Disney Cruise Lines in other pages of my website (just check the navigation bar to find these pages).
We grew up with Walt Disney showing us Disneyland and their plans for it on tv. Every Sunday we'd sit in front of the television and watch another episode and dream of when we'd get to go there ourselves! Disneyland was a wondrous place where you could ride a flying elephant, take a trip to Mars, and even participate (from a safe distance) a battle between pirates and colonists in the Caribbean! I never got to go as a child but I sure did want to!
My first visit to Disneyland was with my husband and our daughter. It was an amazing experience for us, although I don't think our daughter cared at all for those giant costumed characters! When she got a bit older, we went to Disneyland for a weekend, just to get away (dad was out of the country at the time) and it was a great experience for the both of us to hang out together.
Now, that we have grandchildren, we love to go and experience the thrill of exploring this wonderful place through their eyes. It never gets old.
As our grandsons have grown up, we have established a ritual. Before we even depart from home, we plan our trip. We pour over the guidebooks and decide what we can't miss, what we absolutely have to do and what we will not be upset about if we don't get to experience. Sometimes I even write it out, but I definitely plan meals and make reservations (priority seating) calls as soon as Disneyland dining opens for our vacation timeframe.
We check into our hotel and have to immediately check out the shopping at Downtown Disney, just to see if there is anything we must have for our vacation to be considered a success. Dinner and bedtime ends our first day in the Happiest Place on Earth! Bright and early the next morning, without fail, we have our most important Disney meal--that breakfast ride (as my husband calls it), the Goofy's Kitchen buffet (see photo below). A great way of getting the younger children used to the giant costumed characters (so they don't freak out like our young daughter did on our first trip). To date, we've never missed getting everything we've planned for done.
Let me help you plan for your family to experience the wonders of Disneyland. I've been trained in the Disneyland resort experience and have been there with my own family! Call or email me today and let's start making memories for you and your family!
